Theres nothing wrong, or corrupt with Communism. Its us people who are corrupt and greedy. Fix the peoples minds, and you can have Communism. But why would any president who gets paid more than half a million yearly want that? Same with all other government officials who get paid very high. Great for people, horrible for governments that want to fill their pockets.

Russia strikes me as a country that is tired, and living in the past (still trying to fight for face?). The extraordinary energy that it possessed before, and the few decades after the world war is already gone. When 80% of your exports is raw materials, you know your country is seriously in trouble. Russia doesn't need more weapons or land.. it needs a goddammed strong government to re-energise and re-invigorate the country! it just feels like a country of old men to me now.
