In the key of G is how they start, the tune's what I remembered, very thoughtful writing, the music business hadn't quite come with the term "fusion jazz" yet, but the artists were already there, hard to believe this group of takes are called jazzy spies, enjoy

What key are these segments written in?

Thanks for replying! Actually, I meant the message for DragonLord1975, but when I sent it I got a message saying Comment waiting approval. I guess that means it was getting rerouted or something. By the way, thanks for posting all those archives' prints of the "Jazz number" segments! I watch them all the time! I have my own name for them. I call them "Psychedelic Rockin' Numbers", 'cause, you gotta admit, those cartoons are psychedelic, and boy, do they rock! Thanks again!

Oh that wasn't me. It's just in my favorites list. The person who has posted it I think is NantoVision. He's the one you should thank! I'm grateful too!

I was just watching the "Song of 1" on your playlist. Where on earth did you find that one??!! It was great seeing it again! Will you please leave me a reply so I can remember how to find your videos so I can watch them? I couldn't remember who you were, and I was looking all over Youtube for "the person who had a copy of 'Song of 1'" but I couldn't remember who you were! Thanks for posting that video!

LOL - The Jackson Five!

Not anymore. Check my playlist "SESAME ST. BY THE NUMBERS" and you'll find it. NantoVision has it there.

What kind of a session is the voice before the Number Five film saying this is? I can't make out the first word.

For some reason 4 was the Jazzy Spies I liked the most. It showed in Brazil in 1972, a 3 year delay... which suited me just fine. I was 6.
Thanks for the memories!

Gotta be a subtle reference, yeah.
I remember this Jazzy 5... heh, as a kid I thought it was the "Jackson 5" climbing from out of the box on top of the alligator!!
