  • @bayouboy41 THAT IS THEIR STYLE. they are like cavemen. or bullies. like this guy, wbtaylor1 right below you

  • what hope do we have for this country, when this is how the fucking gov't is run...

i am sorry, the republicans are not only the party of NO, but the party of Nothing!!!

  • Republicans really need to learn the damn customs and regulations of the house... Every time I watch CSPAN all I see is a republican making rude statements or shouting out...

  • Pt2. The program you are referring to has had NOTHING to do with this crisis. It isn't poor black people whose homes are defaulting. It is middle america, a group banks have been more than willing to lend to, and that is the problem. Too many people in the entire mortgage system from the individual buyers to the mortgage houses bet everything that home prices would continue to go up and bail them out of increasingly leveraged positions. As soon as it all peaked, instant train wreck.

  • Pt1. That's actually not murder at all...legally. You might get some low-level manslaughter. The truth is she got in the car willingly and as a 29 year old adult. If you think that's murder, that's rediculous.

Also, Frank did not make those two agencies do any such thing. The legislation you are referring to was to stop banks from red-marking districts, a racial practice that hurt many individuals for no logical reason, and contributed nothing to the current problems.

  • majinspy: I don't know even where to begin with you because you are so out of touch and ill informed. Frank was over Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac. They were forced BY HIM to give risky loans to people in the name of political correctness. As far as Kennedy just getting out of a sinking car. He took a young girl for a ride to get her drunk for the purpose of having sex with her. He was drunk and drove of the road killing her. Yes, that's murder. He did not report it & tried to cover it up too

  • Part 2: That woman was going to drown, You can't go without air more than 5 minutes before brain damage / death. Think how long it took for him to get out, swim to shore, and get to a phone. He made a mistake, that he acknowledged, in not calling sooner, but to suggest murder is silly.

You are just listening to all the crap spewed by people who not only have agendas (nothing is wrong with an agenda) but who also think they have the RIGHT to lie to you and others in order to have you back them.

  • Part 1: First, yes, Barney Frank is gay. Obviously this isn't something I care about. As far as affairs, I think he got caught up in some stuff in the eighties...20 years ago isn't "all the time."

As far as corruption, do you have examples? And are you seriously suggesting he caused banks to fail? please...

Ted Kennedy didn't murder anyone. He got out of a sinking car. If the two of us were in a car and it hit the water, I'm getting the hell out.

  • majinspy: The word representative that you used is very profound. Shouldn't an elected official be held to higher standards because they are representing their state? Barney Frank is always involved in homosexual affairs, government corruption, bank failures, etc. Ted Kennedy on the other hand cheated on his wife so many times that she left him. He murdered Mary Jo Kopechne in 1969 and has been caught drunk so many times it can't be counted. I would be embarrassed to call them my rep.
