  • The problem lies with the Police..the GOVT at large and the life style in Kenya...kumbuka...pesa nikilakitu.....I was once a matatu driver ..so I know the loop holes....

  • Mwakwere you are a whole minister. Why don't you compete with the likes of tawfiq. You are a big shot.Go big by buses instead.Go long distance mzee, you are capable!

  • simple things like stop signs and road markings will help alleviate the situation, getting designated drop off points for passengers is another plus in creating sanity on our roads

  • Good reporting but buckle up my friend Robert.

  • This is how we lose it. All we need are Michuki rules, Michuki zeal, Michuki execution of the rules, and Michuki commitment. Can someone get Michuki back to the transport ministry?

  • Matatu ownership qualified in Kibaki's insight

to give him Transportation Desk! My friend Freeg. owns a Tanker...make him Minister for Oil? How absurd does it get?

  • Then KQ, KLM, BA will move their bases to Mogadishu Karuitha. This Makelele guy is tailor made godsend for Matatu Mgt ONLY! He even owns one! How enterprising for cabinet minister....!

  • It is no secret that upon being appointed transport ministers mwakwere reversed the Michuki rules and defended himself by saying that as a Matatu owner he cannot punish himself. When ever there is a cabinet reshuffle, Michuki keeps getting moved from one ministry to another but this pwani idiot stays put at the transport ministry. Why cant Kibaki just had him the air ministry where he wont affect us at all.

  • Robert, we love your reporting. But i just made one observation my brother! You forgot to buckle up. Please wear your seat belt. We need you to keep doing the good job you are already doing.

  • Ah kumbe makwere fella is a matatu owner,...talk about conflict of interest....road safety council is useless ...what about Roads Reconstruction, duplication & traffic lights (re)-education for drivers Action
