this was a region piece for arkansas in 2010-2011. Im in region IV and i have to say that this song is amazing. we performed it and got the most applauses. i love the note that the alto 1's drop to on the last measure of the song to make the harmony. it's been almost a year since i've performed the song and i still get chills when i watch the performance dvd.

this is an all region song this year for Arkansas. And is it me, or are the sopranos saying 'may' instead of 'me'?

I liked this song very much but I enjoyed singing Danny Boy and Music, the Spirit of Life simply because it was so random and offered a vast range for each singer. =D

I think my favorite part of this piece (and this choir's rendition, which I saw in person) is "Ubi est Deus tuus?" Such passion in their voices, and such a strong line.

I wasn't in all-state this year but we sang this in my choir at school last year & it's one of my all time favorite songs to sing in a full women's ensemble. Love it!

okay, well, excuse me for having a $400 camera that takes amazing pictures, but doesn't have the best sound quality.
and it's not like i took the video to try and sell it for its AMAZING sound quality or whatever ..the video was taken to remember the good times that were had at all-state and so i could watch it whenever i wanted to.
so, find something better to do with your time than diss my camera.
it's probably better than yours anyway.
