i was there that day the 2nd pass with the jet truck was awesome i was right up like 20 feet away from it

Yea, that second run was awesome! I could feel the heat from the grandstands, I can only imagine what it felt like 20 feet away! The only bummer about the show is when the one jet dragster flooded out and dumped fuel all over the track, it really held things up. Great show though!

So, how many earpluggs did you all need to retain your hearing? I went to one of those motorsport spectaculars circa 1994, and every time they did the tractor pull my mother and I would squeeze our earpluggs and put our heads together. Then again, when you are inside and airtight dome as we were it just contains the sound.

When these jet cars were at full afterburner,you could feel them as much as you could hear them!!! WHOOO HOOOOO!!!

Hole in the floor? The s'cool bus driver clearly has a full view of the track. Give her some credit for steering from the "passenger" side. LOL 8^)

The driver of the bus can only see the track through a hole in the floor,he steers the bus by using two hand breaks that go to each rear wheel...FRICKIN MENTAL!!

The Red truck has twin engines,you can feel the heat from the stands!

Photographing this truck as it passes is like trying to work a camera and being punched in the stomach at the same time!
