Stems from our personal experience with a spiritually abusive church.

The minister in my family was a Baptist minister. I called it the "cult model" because every Baptist church follows the definition of a cult in that they all follow one charismatic leader.

Mrselfrog-thank you for your response;I think I had to repeat my comment and i didn't realize the second time,I didn't include I had 5+yrs of pastoral counseling for being the victim of ministerial malpractice.IAfter that I had aprox 3yrs more counseling from our County Adult Mental Health-and was placed on medication only then did I really finally start to feel better.Like I said It's taken me almost 10 years now to finally feel better,I was 'spiritually raped' by that church.

This happened to me,I was a victim of 'ministerial malpractice'. I called him the 'sinister minister',and still do ,its been bout 9ish yrs.Their church appeared to be like any other church,but was a 'cult'-'cults' can be very subtle-I went to another later, that turned out to be a cult too, in a milder form, and was spiritually harmed there too.Too many churches are bound up in rules in the 'tradition of man' that have nothing to do with the Bible-The Bible is taken literally,and misunderstood.

The "sinister minister" IS great! The damage this group did to us may haunt us forever-- I know it has been three years and we still feel the blow back from having been so taken advantage of... I look at these videos I did so long ago and can see how nervous and upset, and still.. dare I say it.... a little crazy. *Normally* there are deeper issues at work inmat be good for you to seek out some counseling, us who fall for these cons-- it has done us a world of good.

My daughter involved in a cult in Tacoma WA. The wallers. This false apostle & wife leads their members around on a spiritual leash w/fortune telling and the stupidest false prophesies I've ever heard! They ruinned my daughter's ability to think for herself. They taught her to view non tithers as evil and not in the truth. She idolizes them and they've convinced her she is a prophet. My main concern is they're bliking her out of so much money!

You know, we had a very supportive family. They were kind and patient and did not get into philosophy arguements.. my time with them was nice and it got to where I was feeling deprived of my personal life. We had a "don't talk rule" but after 3 years i started telling my family the kind of things I'd seen. They were great. There is A LOT you don't know. But I would do what my family did because there is no reasoning with the un reasonable. Check out faithandreasons.

This Christ Life Centered Cult twists scriptures for double honor, which was really for people over 65, not someone who has had several sex relationships; who teaches lies. The leaders teach bless me with your money and God will bless you. Warning your loved ones about the true meaning of tithes will get you shunned. He teaches you're supposed to throw $ at his feet. Their members work for Free for them. He charges people to ride in the church van. Bring food to the banquet or you can't eat!

This comment was left by a member (or "leader") of the cult I left. See, eight months of later they are still being controlling and stalker creepy. Notice the comments left on my other videos. THIS is why you need to look for these traits and leave gracefully.
