What benefits?

Please tell me what benefits this has for the citizens of this country! More people on the same or less doctors and staff, and medical technology companies getting out of the business because they can't get paid what they need to for their products...how is any of that a BENEFIT?

Before launching into a defense, remember that when obstetricians in rural Oregon were put on medicaid price controls, THEY LEFT. Access to care was LOST. But we all paid more.

so the government is forcing business to pay for employee's insurance. If not, they get penalized. If they do, they get a tax credit? They still have to pay for the insurance, so it doesn't make BUSINESS SENSE. The credit is for small employers employing people who make <$25k. They are VIP's and must be saved.

Did they mention to you that premiums will be increasing? Have you taken ECON 101 yet?
