My Last Day of Psych

This semester of school has only made me love Nursing even more..this last day of clinicals was kinda bitter sweet because me and my friends had fun goofing off all day and we had a blast with the psych patients but in the back of my mind I couldn't help but think that this was the last day that some of us would see each other for a very long time..some of my classmates are transferring to other nursing school and other Nursing programs and some people are going on to third level which is OB and peds and others like me are going to sit out of school for a semester until we can repeat whatever part of second level that we have too....

with all the stuff that has happened to me this year and all the crap that is still happening..I always try to remember that everything happenes for a reason..and god has a plan..it may be crazy to us..but he has a plan.lol.....

One of my teachers told me something that really struck me and I hope it stays with me..she said "For the people who have to repeat something or didn't pass something the first time this isn't the end..everyone messes up sometimes..I failed a level in nursing school and I had to sit out for a whole year, but I came back and Graduated Nursing school and since then have gotten 3 more degrees so don't tell me ya'll can't do it..and always remember that god wouln't put anything in your heart that he wouldn't help see you through and finish..and remember that everything happens in due season..not your season..due season"...

When she said that it really raised my spirit..

I finished pysch with a 90% B
and I finished pharmacology with a 86%B

so if no one else is proud of me..I
am proud of myself..

and on a side note..
I'm going to do a video about male Nurses because for some reason people think that a male nurse is something out of this world and really strange.lol....one of my favorite RN's and youtubers made a video about that subject and I'm going to do a video response to her..

Good luck to all of u it is hard but not impossible. I bought this guide from ebay called survival guide for beginning nursing students. Its not really beginners only it shows you different ways to study and things to do to pass. So anyone struggling might wanna buy that .

My son was in UCLA NICU for almost four months and for the most part, most of the nurses sucked. They had little to no compassion and responded like robots, a total disconnect. BUT my most favorite nurse was a guy, he would go above and beyond the call of duty and he really REALLY cared. The male nurse I had ROCKED!!! I don't know if I would have made it without his hard work.

Stay encouraged and if you really want it, you will make it!! God Bless and I will definitely keep you in my prayers.
