David Payne, and all the 4Warn team, should get an award for the coverage today...he followed these storms, spawning several tornadoes, for many hours and across the state. He got so close, way too close at times, we feared for his safety (and Kevin's)! Jim Gardner in the chopper is a very brave man as well. Thank you from a fellow Okie for keeping us 4warned and safe as can be!

Jkillshiself has a video up about this same tornado. Check it out. Language is quite adult, but omg, you gotta see.

I live in Noble. When Mike Morgan kept saying "it's gonna hit Noble!" I decided to leave the house and run. We dont have a storm shelter and he said we may not live if not below ground. We drove to Noble High and watched as the tornado amazingly dissipated right as it was about to enter town. When I got home, debris from Goldsby was falling out of the sky. I haven't slept well and am still trying to process what happened.

This tornado hit maybe 5 miles from the house and barn I live at. What a scary day, we thought we were in the clear then the weathermen started saying tornado headed for Goldsby. We got outside and as we were running through pasture to get to the neighbors shelter I see this thing pop up above the trees. That was the scariest moment of my life. Thankfully (for us) it changed direction and headed north, missing our house and barn (that had 20 horses in it). We were extremely lucky. I managed to

I watched all of this unfold live, as I'm sure many were. This storm system was spitting out tornado after tornado after tornado. For HOURS this went on! Was watching when David Payne and whoever he was riding/driving with was nearly sucked up by the tornado. Power lines flying all over the screen. It was fucking scary. I thought he was done for!

Thank god for Gary England, thats how we found out it was coming for Grady County. So we went to the cellar, abotu 20 minutes later, BOOM there it was it dropped and it was HUGE. First one i've ever seen, and I know I wont forget it... And the noise it makes, amazing. And it got so still and hailed before it came down. It tore apart tons of things out here. Hope everyone was safe.

I live on the East Coast and I was glued to the simulcast they were doing on MSNBC. Truly astonishing work by the guys in the studio and out in the field. It's amazing how they can do all of this in real-time to no doubt save countless lives.

looks like them HAARP workers finally got the tornado recipe locked in.. they can make tornado's at will

they were amazing. I just moved here, originally from California. Despite being scared, I was so appreciative of how awesome all the weather personnel were!

Okies are the pros at this. Norman, OK had the original storm chasers & have a very important weather watcher system there. I can't tell you how grateful I was when the F4 folded (even tho it was very strange) just before it got to Norman. It was just amazing.
this news station saved several hundred lives with their forecast and warnings....they are truly on it....still watching it on the web stream in Florida...more news stations need to do this...
