English - blue boxes
This is how I made my Elfen Lied helmet. It's out of paper mache and was the cheapest way for me making the helmet. ^^'
I will use the helmet as a bag for my Lucy Laboratory Cosplay at the AniNite 2010.

I have never done anything with paper mache and was kinda pissed off at the beginning ... I had totally NO IDEA what to do! xDD

Das Video zeigt wie Ich den Helm von Elfen Lied mache. Es ist aus Pappmache und war der günstigste Weg für mich, den Helm zu machen. ^^'
Ich werde den Helm als Tasche für mein Lucy Labor Cosplay bei der AniNite 2010 benutzen.

I hatte noch nie zuvor mit Pappmache gearbeitet und war am Anfang ein wenig gereizt ... Ich hatte sowas von KEINE AHNUNG was zu tun ist! xDD

Hi there, could you please tell me exactly how you cut the card out please? I can't really see how you cut it and what shape it's meant to take. I have tried but I can't seem to get it right, it would really help me a lot if you could tell me.

I kinda followed the way you did, but I used two balloons because the helmet is really long. I also used cardboard on some parts. And the side holes are indented, not facing out O: So I cut a hole where they were. Then I covered the whole thing with model magic clay, sand papered it, colored it, and spay painted it to look shiny. It looks like the actual thing. :3
