We Americans want everything. And when we spot a sexy new model (motorcycle) on the showroom floor (okay, the women too), in Europe that we cant have, we start whining. But Americans just dont buy naked-type bikes like the Euros do and the cycle continues.

  • Whoa, that was so lame......

  • I have one, it's such an awsome bike!!! I love it! :)

  • @aTellerOfTruths Dear fellow Californian, the California sales tax is 6.25%. "Between April 1, 2009 and ending June 30, 2011, the state sales and use tax increased by 1% as a result of the 2008-2009 California budget crisis." As you know, 6.25% + 1% = 7.25%, not 9.5%. In any case, as it is currently past June 30, 2011, the California sales tax is back down to 6.5%.

You can also go and buy your Honda in Nevada (6.85% sales tax), Arizona (6.6% sales tax), or Oregon (0% sales tax).

    Whine on whiny

  • another rip off

  • what is the name of this song in the beginning?

  • Jon Siedl is as ghey as two boys in a bath tub, seriously can't Honda have someone more cool?

  • I was ready to buy one until the sales tax in Commiefornia went up to 9.5%. Now, I don't get one, Honda doesn't make anything, the dealer gets nothing, everyone loses. What's wrong with this rotten state!

  • Suzuki 650 V-Strom is far superior in design, reliability and performance. For example; any V twin should be transverse mounted in a shaft driven bike. So the crankshaft revolves in the same direction as the driveshaft. Otherwise, 2 differentials (transferring power on right angle - like on a RWD car - are needed).

Cheers, any questions, feel free to send me any messages :)

  • Hello from south Portugal, I have a 2006 Honda NT700V with about 21.500 miles. Posting here the pros and cons. Remember, my version is an earlier European model, some things might gotten fixed on this. Downsides: -Lack of power, only 65bhp. -A lot of vibration due to the V2 engine at higher rpm's, up to 70mph you wont notice unless above 200 mile trip. -Heat between your legs -Tires lose air -Bad plastics quality -Needs 6th gear Upsides -Fabulous torque, due to the V2 Engine -Mileage -Storage
