One of the best young scholars around, his is also the author of the must read book 'dont be sad'..sorry the translation is a little off

He basically emphasises that to get angry, to display anger costs one person time and energy. So shaykh Aid points out that a Muslim's time or energy should never spent on useless things like this. Its probably more accurate to say, 'you will get angry, just dont let it drag on'.

The prophet (SAW) advised us to make wudu when feeling mad because anger comes from shaytan.

And from personal experience if any of you get mad while your standing up, then sit down. If ur sitting down, then lay down. And if your already laying down and you still get angry, then just roll on the ground lol whatever helps..

  • Ma sha'a Allah.

He's one of my favorite dua's, very articulate and wise.

lol by the way, when I first knew him I thought he was a young scholar too, not over 30. But in fact he's over 50 years of age :)

  • @3houd - ya same i thought he was in his young 30s, i guess u cant be that wise at such a young age so does make sense lol..but mashaAllah hes one of my fav shaykhs as well..i didnt know u guys referred to shaykhs as dua's as well..interesting lol

  • @mohammadzafar I called him a dai'ia because most of the shows I watched by him, and most of the books I read for him were more of a dua's work than scholar's work. He doesn't give fatwas as much as he gives his thoughts about Islam and the lives of the prophets.

  • @3houd - u meant da'ee right? And thats why i like him so much, hes not the typical speaker where you know what hes gonna say, so hes really interesting to listen to..u heard of muktar shinqitee? He and al Qarni are both my fav speakers/shaykhs!
