OK, I saw Cardle's YT version of this, not knowing it was a cover & I commented defending Matt against haters. I said there's nothing wrong with Matt's voice but the song was stupid. However, today I came across this & I retract that my statement. Sung like this the song actually makes sense which means X-Factor f'd it up & forced Matt to sing a shitty cover. So now I understand the reason for all the hate he's getting. He's a tolerable pop singer but THIS is light-years above his level
