I love their old stuff like this, but I still love Let Love In, I really don't know why people freak out about it. Yeah it was different than all they've done before, but that's part of the fun of liking the band. They're willing to do stuff like that and I respect them as musicians for that.

@ballaguitara ever heard The Replacements album "Tim?" it came out in 85 i believe, and this song kinda resembles that sound... in my opinion at least. The Goo Goo Dolls were heavily influenced by The Replacements.

they did im awake now when i saw em at worlds fair park sept 11th 99. they played old school jams out the ass. they even played 2 or 3 songs from hold me up. i haven't seen any songs performed off that album in ten+ years. the old songs rock and are almost punk, but the times demand the hits. So i doubt anyone is gonna see too much of there you are and the jams from the freddy movies

@bpcarlson01 I wouldn't have a problem with that if it seemed like they actually enjoyed the new songs...but they (and by they I really just mean Johnny) has no passion when he plays anymore.
