Sardar Mallick was one of the most underrated composers in Bollywood. His movies were not box-office smashes, but musically they were superb. He never failed with his music. And EMI India never released a collection of his music - which he so much deserved. Sardar Malik was Anu Malik's father and married to Hasrat Jaipuri's sister. He sure knew REAL Indian music and yes, he was under-rated. He couldn't market himself well enough like SJ, SD, CR and Naushad.
