Despite its name, you wont find much praying going on at The Bike Church. Unless, of course, some of its participants are silently praying that the tube they just patched holds air.
The Bike Church is housed in a garage at Holy Spirit Church in Asbury Park. Every Monday afternoon, this space becomes a flurry of activity. Old bicycles, helmets, tools and parts grace the parking lot. One of the missions of the program is to teach neighborhood youngsters how to fix up these old bikes and give them a second life. They all earn a bicycle after participating for a certain length of time and learning certain skills

Great job on this video, Susan! Kerri and Father Bill - you have created something really special in the Bike Church. I especially appreciate the fact that a love of bikes has brought such a diverse group of kids together.
