These men, members of Leadership Oklahoma City's Class XXVII, volunteered to have their heads shaved if their classmates in the community leadership program would contribute to St. Baldrick's Foundation, which funds pediatric cancer research. Fletcher Christian Vines, the 11-year-old son of another classmate, died in 2006 from Ewing's sarcoma, and the class wished to honor his memory. More than $3,000 was raised as the men were shaved by yet another classmate.
