what i do is i get a spoon full and let only a small amount out from the spoon and then i just wrap it around my hand lightly and then it starts to look like a nest..... i just find it easier that way!

@bluestarslool Yes, I like to let small strands fall over a rolling pin and then form into a nest or ball by hand. It makes a very pretty garnish. Happy New Year!
