The government of Jamaica has postponed elections from August 27 to September 3. This decision came on the heels of Hurricane Dean which will give the country more time to properly prepare for the elections.
The DreadlessRas and Keisha Allen were in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and compiled a report on the election vibe.
Don't be ignorant. I'm Jamaican born and do not speak with a Jamaican accent. I left Jamaica at 12 and was raised from 12 on in the U.S. then Canada. If you know anything of Jamaicans, you would know that at least 50% of the Jamaican pop lives outside of Jamaica. Ex. Shaggy speaks with an American accent but was born Kingston Ja. Heavy D born in Ja but speaks with an American accent. Where you are raised as a child determines how you sound. In the U K most Jamaicans sound like Brits
