Austin After Dark

I set out this past Friday night to capture images of Austin's people and night scene. The weather was perfect for a November evening with a slight fog setting in late. I work downtown in the evenings and am familiar with this overly friendly group of folks. Austin, Texas is a great town.

All images shot with Canon 7D, Sigma 30mm, 1.4, wide open, edit in FCP, no correction with all shots raw from the camera. The 7D is a real treat. Saved 720p, .mov, medium resolution, so be patient with the video buffering.

Video seems to be a tourist version. Austin is much more radical when you look a little farther.

Just got back from my first trip to SXSW, this video is absolutely perfect. The pedicab girl at 3:45 took us everywhere....and we didn't care how fast she got us there, we preferred the scenic route. ;)
