Viet Dihn, one of the main authors of the Patriot Act sat on the board of directors for Ruppert Murdoch's News Media Corp. at the time of 9/11. This shows collusion and prima facie evidence of media complicity and motive to dis-assemble the constitution for corporate gain and suppression of the liberty of this republic.

I think he came to his senses that what he authored was a bad law that went against everything this country stands for: the very basic right to be heard in court instead of throwing people in jail like Communist Vietnam does without due process. Or maybe he asked by W do do something and he didn't so he got fired by the clueless W!
