Is modern Western society currently being programmed to persecute people of faith? This video explores this question and provides evidence that this is indeed the case.

  • propaganda, emotive language, brainwashing? can he not see the irony

  • Religion may be a virus , but atheism is a cancer.

  • TO ATHEISTS & THEISTS, a growing number of people like myself don't really care what you believe may true, i.e. god exists or not, science can explain our origins or a god created everything...etc. Nothing personal, I care even less about my beliefs...lol

    THE ONLY CAVEAT!!

The line has to be drawn on what one believes if what one believes is the impetus to cause UNNECESSARY SUFFERING to conscious beings, human & non-human

  • @lateralaus "Just because I say "part" does not make the description false. "

No..but it was intentionally deceptive. You know as well as i do that if we are going to have a conversation about religions in the U.S. we aren't going to be talking about Democrats or Republicans or Football fans. You are being intentionally obtuse in an attempt to bring science down to religions level., They are 2 different things. If you cannot admit that you are being intellectually dishonest.

  • @lateralaus "don't be stupid in thinking there is no evidence to back up Christianity. "

What evidence? That a person named Jesus existed? That some of the places in the bible existed? This is a far cry from claiming this Jesus was the son of God...or that there even IS a god. The bigger the claim the more evidence that is required before someone is justified in accepting that claim. You guys have a lot of work to do.

  • @lateralaus Define Religion. Even if you even want to water it down to a belief system it's not a belief system. It's the rejection of YOUR beleif system. I really do find it funny that the religious are now claiming EVERYTHING is now a religion. Using your broad definiton you could nearly call anything more than 2 people agree on a "religion."

  • @lateralaus You are talking about absolute knowledge. Either you don't know this or are continuing to use equivocation as an argument but NOTHING in science is 100 percent absolute. Einstein and Newton's theories of gravity are not 100 percent "fact" The sexual theory of reproduction isn't 100 percent fact. The germ theory of disease isn't "fact" or 100 percent accurate. However, you aren't out claiming you have issues with those are you? Is believe in germ theory a religion?

  • @MrJmm999 The word Faith has been incorrectly labelled as strictly relating to the belief in a God. Faith is the belief in something which cannot be settled with evidence. Evolution certainly has plenty of evidence (as does Christianity) but evolution CANNOT be proven as 100% accurate, you can be fairly certain, but you cannot be 100% certain so you have faith in your evidence. Don't assume I think evolution is wrong and don't be stupid in thinking there is no evidence to back up Christianity.

  • @MrJmm999 Just because I say "part" does not make the description false. Atheism is as much a cultural/belief system as the likes of Christianity or Judaism. Religion is man made, Jesus condemned religion in the bible. A religion does NOT require a God or holy texts (Jedi was a recognised religion in the UK census).
