Joe Wurzelbacher, the man who was thrust into the national spot light after he confronted Obama about his proposed tax hikes, was the highlight of the final presidential debate of 2008, and was met by a crowd of reporters on his front lawn the next morning.

Having already been used as an icon of the common American, his chat with reporters contains a hugely pertinent message that many in this country can relate to, but is seldom espoused by the media. This is the other side of America, the good side, the common sense side, the patriotic side. Joe was confident but not arrogant, intelligent but not elite, and said many things that people need to hear.
