Shot on a Nikon D90 on a 15mm fish-eye lens at 6400 ISO, 2 seconds at f/2.8 every 11 seconds. 717 photographs shot over 2 hours 11 minutes and 27 seconds. www.jeffparryphotography.com

  • I think the blinking light makes the lighthouse more graceful; as seen in this video! Too bad lighthouses only come out at night! HAHA!

  • Out of all the Californian lighthouses; Pigeon Point is my favorite! The main reason why; there is a diaphone still in operational condition; unlike it's short relative in Wisconsin who's horns were dismantled. Pigeon is also the prettiest lighthouse in California; despite it's poor condition. I see that the old Aerobeacon has been superseded by a Vrb-25. Point Reyes' Areobeacon has also been replaced by a Vrb-25; if I am correct.
