What gearbox did you use in this car?? I've got a Mk1 Golf with a kr head and 9a short 2 litter bottom end. It's got a rod change gearbox in it which is really short geared, like an 8v GTI gearbox. good for the little tight tracks but I think it might run out of steam when I take it to places like Nurburgring.

My dad has a mk1 golf Pirelli Edition with a KV lump in it.. Its absolutly insane the power to weight. good effort on the driving front :D
