پاکستان کے تمام سکول انگلش میدیئم کردیئے گۓ ہیں ، مسلم بچے اپنی تہذیب سے کٹ گۓ ہیں ، وہ ذہنی طور پر قرآن وحدیث یا ان کے اردو تراجم سے مکمل طور پر بے بہرہ کالے انگریز بن گۓ ہیں اور کہا جا رہا ہے کہ: "مسلمان" نہیں، یہاں اعتدال پسند، روشن خیال لوگوں کا بسیرا ہے۔

ان طلبہ و طالبات کو سٹیج کرکے سینکڑوں لوگوں کے سامنے جس طرح "منی کی بدنامی" جیسے گانوں پر نچایا جاتا ہے، یہ فعل تعلیم کے مقاصد کی نفی کرتا ہے جو کہ قابل مذمت بھی ہے اور بے راہروی کی جانب مائل کرنے کا ذریعہ بھی ۔ قابل افسوس امر یہ ہے کہ والدین اور اساتذہ اپنے بچوں کی اس پرفارمنس سے محظوظ اور مطمئن ہوتے ہیں کہ ان کی تربیت میں کوئی کمی نہیں رہ گئی اور انہوں نے اپنے حصے کا حق ادا کردیا ۔

ہائے رے پاکستانیو تم بیرون ملک کی خرافات تو جلد اپناتے ہو کپڑے اتارنے سے لے
کر تہوار منانے تک لیکن کبھی اُن کی اچھی چیز کو نہ اپنا سکے ۔
