yea still have my vl...though totally covered in dust..been thinkin' i should pull it out and use that monster large needle (think ita a .75 or .90 not sure anymore)that came with it and try to airbrush with some one shot, had a few times where it woulda been nice to airbrush on something and not have to worry about clearing it
-
In my later vid's I'm mostly use my Iwatas. But from time to I'll break out the VL, Mostly for larger areas. I agree Iwata airbrush is better.
-
my first airbrush was a vl...i would recommend if you are having troubles to switch to an iwata, only a few dollars more and work way better, the paashe airbrushes seem so temperamental, probaly due to low quality control, a lot of my problems when I started were due to that vl

@Alxgatorman Cool thanks man

@madcuzimFLAGRENT, No, it does not have to be thinned. I have a VL. Createx is a good paint to start out with, it's cheap enough to experiment with. but the smaller the needle and tip, the more clogging may happen.
-
@Alxgatorman does the createx have to be thinned down for the small needles? i just got a vl and havent really done much airbrushing so im not sure what paint to use
-
lol, maybe when I get good enough I'll make one. My brother wants me to paint flames on his go-kart, so that might be an idea. Thanks for the help!
-
cool - just make sure the tip is the right size.
as far as paint, I would just buy some createx airbrush paint from hobby lobby for a few dollars.
So, when we gonna see your airbrush video? :)
