  • if it was only cheaper,

me and my neighbor were thinking of paying 50-50 to power our 2 homes, but just a bit ify

  • Excellent information there! Wind as you know is kinetic energy that is converted into electrical energy. The biggest advantage of wind power is the generation of power. As of April 2009, almost 29,000 MW of wind power is currently generated in the United States. Pacific Crest Transformers offers Grounding transformers with harsh duty requirements, Wind Turbine Step-Up Transformers, Collector Step-Up Transformers, and Dynamic VAR Compensation Systems Transformers for wind energy.

  • Wind power is a Liberal fantasy. Only a liberal would peel an orange and then discard the orange and suck on the peel because the orange is too juicy and might dribble on his jacket. Oil all the way baby and if you don't like cheap energy like coal then do us a favor and grab a robe and go swing somewhere

  • nuke - nuclear waste

    coal - ash, smoke, co2

    wind - ummm nothing?

once built, other than maintenance (like the others require) there is no other emissions

    the choice is clear.

plus the land can still be farmed.

  • wind- $17 kwh, coal- $5 kwh, nuke- $3kwh - the choice is clear.

  • The guy says when the wind doesn't blow, it doesn't generate. 82% of electrical system peak in the northern US latitudes, the turbines stand still. That is not the worst news, they are consuming power (on peak) to keep them warm enough to run when the wind does blow.

Can someone say more about this?!

  • It looks like a huge opportunity for people to have jobs building the components domestically here in the US.

  • Awesome!

This video touched on a lot of great points. It really peaked my interest on the subject of wind energy. Thanks for submitting this video.

    Keep it uploading!
