I also use 720p/60FPS.
Would be nice if firmware could fix it because if we're paying for 1080p, it would be nice to actually get 1080p. ;)

Also loving the Zi8. There are _two_ things I don't like:
1. the base could of been a bit fatter to make it easier to stand up on it's own. Takes me a few seconds to keep it up every time (that's what she said) and the surface needs to be really flat.
2. For some reason, filming in 1080p seems to have worse quality than 720p even when I'm not moving.

True on both of your observations! I just love the fact that is thinner than a FLIP and everyone ask me what kind of blackberry I have... LOL
Thats why I use 720p/60FPS... hopefully we can fix that with some firmware!

If you love it so much, are you gonna, place a portrait next to the lovable family to?
1 to access the inside it is One screw, that instead ofhaving tape that you can figure your own way to seperate thelight or block it.
