  • 36 - 1 tigger wheel

  • Is the coil getting it's current from the Megasquirt computer? Bill

  • @earlyhemibill no its not its getting power from the 12v dc converter i have there (would be battery in your car) megasquirt grounds out the coil.

  • it was a jimstim v1.3

  • was just making sure my edis system i took off a junk yard car worked before i put it in the car. Also making sure my megasquirt read the rpm signal from it.

  • I use a MS1 v3.57 pcb (smd) with a 60-2 trigger wheel on a vw golf 3 (2.0L 16v turbo) Nice work!

"Do Not Try This At Home"

DANGER - not only will this kill you, but it will hurt the whole time you are dying. LOL

  • LMAOO MY NAME IS EDIS XD

  • How many teeth are on the wheel and how many cyclinders will you be running? Thank bill

  • @scooterx517 Did you get an accurate rpm value on megatune? (I mean the same on the computer as the one you see on the dremel as you change the rpm setting on the dremel, i think these go up to 10k-15k rpm right?)

  • To get the EDIS to megasquirt, do I need something extra then, or could I just wire it up to a standard MS unit ? Im bidding on one standard MS V2 on Ebay : )

  • I absolutely LOVE the fact you used a Dremel for this. There's some serious marketing opportunities for everyone here :)

  • so can i use a edis module and crank wheel with a aem twin fire and cdi pencil coils for megasquirt to run it?
