200 cars stuck in mud after firework display!!

Went to a firework display near High Wycombe (UK). I'm not going to mention the venue as the firework display was really good and it's in a great location (except for mass parking arrangements!)

Upon arrival, we found ourselves committed to parking in a muddy field. Others that had seen the queue before turning into the road, had parked in the town.
This field turned out to be a corn field - 90% mud! Although the ground was damp, no-one was having any problems maneuvering their cars. Walking from the field to the display was difficult as our shoes were getting caked in mud!

During the display it rained, and rained, and rained. I knew what lay in wait when we got back to the car!

There were about 200 cars in the 'corn field car park' stuck in the mud - it took nearly 2 hours to get out the car park.
It didn't help that I drove over a plastic fence whilst filming and not looking where I was going!! Three days later and it's still in the wheel...oops!

That's nothing I seen worst and I've been in worst then that in my 93 civic with 4 seasons tires with 20% treadwear left.

I know the feeling!! In my younger years, my Ford Escort Mk3 had low tread, then it snowed!! - everyone was overtaking me and the conditions were terrible!

I'm good until something touch the bottom of the car. Most of the people doesn't know how to drive properly. I've been in the same situation as them and I had no problem :-)
