  • This one at Coventry Airport is not airworthy though is it?

  • Well this machine is not airworthy at the moment but there is now a group at Coventry called "Shackelton to the sky" which are trying to get this aircraft fling again so keep an eye open you never know we may yet see a shackelton flying again one day :-) Cheers Lee.

  • Amazing the think the defence of the UK depended on such a wonderful aircraft, a British aircraft and today we cannot even make such a wonderful piece of engineering, it is a sad indictment on the successive governments we have had to weaken us so badly.
