This kind of thinking is why Pro Wrestling is in decline in the PPV market.

I just watched the wrestling doc Beyond the Mat, which shows the ECW's days just before their first PPV, and how Paul would run the company out of his mom's basement, and I have to say that it was incredible what the ECW was able to accomplish considering how they were being run, and how they started. Very inspirational for anyone who aspires to have a successfull bussiness of their own some day.

@abdirizak2hot WWE and MMA are two different things that can't be compared and your spelling is horrible.

@22srs22 They're going to the Sinclair Broadcasting Group, forgot what channels they own, but I know they're streaming their shows online too.

If Paul Heyman had control of wwe it wouldn't be in the sorry state it's been in for so long now
I admire this guy so much, a true visionary

Even better, ROH just got themselves a new TV deal.

Looking at the past, and looking to the future.
TNA is doing the former, and ROH is doing the latter.
TNA's main attractions nowadays are old guys from WCW or WWE talking about their legacies in the ring. For two and a half hours. Just talking. No wrestling.
ROH is bringing in new talent and pushing their particularly outstanding ones. Their latest PPV, Best In The World, was the most viewed PPV online than any other wrestling PPV ever.
TNA is dying, ROH is rising. Pro wrestling survives.
Vince had reputation, money, territory back when he needed it and TV when he needed it. Paul had no reputation, no money, a bingo hall in Philly and barely stayed on TV long enough to survive. Vince is brilliant, no doubt, but Vince had a lot of help building his empire. Paul had nothing, achieved more than most people of his stature in the wrestling business ever have and did a lot to change wrestling. Vince could never ever do what Paul did, so that's why I think Paul is a genius.
