Rejyna 'Happy Hands' | McConnell Arts Center | Digitech JamMan Solo and Ovation Balladeer

I perform my song 'Happy Hands' live at The Peggy R. McConnell Arts Center as part of Jim Volk's 'Night of Acoustic Music'.

I wrote the song 'Happy Hands' when I would walk my dog (RIP Kosh :( around the neighborhood park. I invented this hands-free leash thing to free up my hands by attaching Kosh's harness to a belt around my own waist. Having both hands free to strum and pick while walking Kosh made my hands happy...

At first it was going to be a song with lyrics, I even have them written out, but after trying it with the looper, I decided to make it a layered instrumental. I changed the title to 'Happy Hands' because playing it makes my hands happy, and left it an instrumental without using the lyrics...deep, eh?

Using an Ovation and a DigiTech JamMan Solo phrase looper, I assemble four layers of guitar work into the song from my solo live CD release "Solo Sojourn Live" available at http://cdbaby.com/cd/rejyna and on iTunes, Amazon, eMusic, Napster, Spotify and other online download retailers.
