Hmm...
You got a point there.
But I don't think there will be a crack in it, the back is made of chrome, the glass may crack, but I heard it's pretty durable by itself. The dent can happen, but there is a low chance of that happening...
And you shouldn't even have an iPod if you're not careful about it!

my point is that you can drop your iPhone or whatever device while it has an invisibleShield on and sure, it wont be scratched but it will have a big dent/crack in it.

No, I had one and my iPod still had a ton of scratches.
But now I have an InvisibleShield, and it's great, now it doesn't have anymore scratches

Bulky cases also prevent damage when dropped.
