@elkhoury01 ebony makes a lower pitch but are hard to tune, i would go with the clear pinstripes on batter but also look into resonant heads they help so much tuning wise

dude, don't buy a new double bass, just adjust the placement with your tuning key.

I think using a china upside down is better. thats how do it. I also think it lasts longer. idk tho. I have a question tho. What kida of heads should i get? are those heads good cause i heard they break in like a month and im trying to choose between those heads and clear remo pinstripe heads

they are pretty good they dont break they crack though, the black plastic on the outside cracks it stays pretty durable just affects the sound i dont use them any more go with the clear dude
