There's nothing Meryl can't do. I never stop being surprised by her talent. I'm catholic and have no connection to judaism what so ever and I do not understand one word of hebrew, but I'M SO MOVED BY THIS SCENE... Incredible

@SocratesTheGadfly Actually quite not to the contrary. Both Greenglas and Sobel confessed that the Rosenberg's never sent any atomic info. Plus the Russians revealed documentation after the fall of Communism that proved this and also that there was never any info of significance that came from Sobel and Greenglas, let alone the Rosenberg's. They also admitted that Ethel was never involved.

@lemaxmas actually quite the contrary, the rosenbergs did deliver atomic designs to the communist soviet empire and placed the national security of The United States of America at risk.  therefore, they betrayed the nation and put millions of peoples lives at risk for death at the hands of the soviet empire.

@lemaxmas People like Aldrich Ames who worked for the CIA and Robert Hanson who worked for the FBI were both spies for the Soviets. as well as a number of other government agents who did the same. Eah were proven to have done far more damage than the Rosenbergs and yet they were never executed. Why aren't you screaming about that?

@lemaxmas Now if your patriotism is for real, you know that our trials are literally based on the need for actual proof beyond a reasonable doubt. That never happened. Government sources even back then admitted that to forcing their executions only because they would not name any names. You don't execute people, because they do not talk. You have to have conclusive proof.

@SocratesTheGadfly There was never any proof that the Rosenberg's were guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. This is especially the case for Ethel Rosenberg. If you read your history you would know this. That Ethel's brother and wife implicated the Rosenberg's to save their own skin. Greenglas admitted this on 60 Minutes. While some documents have hinted that Julius may have spied for Russia, there was never any proof that he gave any significant info and no proof that his wife ever did.

@lemaxmas ethel rosenberg and julius rosenberg were TRAITORS and deserved the DEATH PENALTY and that is certainly NOT a hate filled opinion it is a FACT. every nation that seeks to preserve, protect and defend itself has EVERY RIGHT to take actions that PROTECT itself, otherwise it becomes a puppet state or a vassal to another. just ask yourself this one question, WOULD YOU RATHER LIVE IN SLAVERY TO THE SOVIET COMMUNIST EMPIRE? be honest!
