Sussita - Hippos 2010: Meet the bathhouse&odeon teams

Sussita-Hippos is ancient city from the hellenistic and roman time, on the hill near kibbutz Ein-Gev,Israel on the shore of the lake of Tiberias (Sea of Galilee).

This is a movie about the people who came from different countries and religions to discover the old secrets of ancient times in July 2010.

as a members of kibbutz Ein-Gev we appreciate very much their efforts and their enthusiasm.

במהלך יולי 2010 נערכה עונת החפירות ה11 בסוסיתא בהובלתו של פרופסור ארתור סגל מאוניברסיטת חיפה . סוסיתא אחת מערי הדקפוליס ששרידיה נמצאים על גבעה ציורית המשקיפה לכנרת בסמוך לעין גב. מכיוון שכאמור האתר סמוך לקיבוץ שלנו ונמצא על "ההר שלנו" יצאנו לצלם קצת את מהלך החפירות. הקליפים אינם מתמקדים בתגליות הגדולות ועל האוצרות הטמונים באתר אלא יותר באבק, בדליים במריצות ובעיקר בחופרים שהגיעו מלמעלה מ10 מדינות לבלות קיץ ישראלי של חפירות והם מספרים קצת על החוויה
