A well known tune played on a Steve Agnew mandolin. The guitar track was played on a Taylor in 'drop d' tuning.

  • Awesome mandolin! Is that a trinity college? Sounds great!

  • Yeah it's a nice one. It's made by Steve agnew who is based in Skipton, north yorkshire. I don't think he has a web site.

  • nice!

  • Lovely playing and a very nice mandolin.

  • Good point on the triplets: mine sound like a machine gun.

  • Love it: One of the ones I can play out of Jerry O' Connor's Banjo book (on Mandolin). I'm still not quick enough as you have just proved.

  • Steve Agnew is now making fantastic instruments in Edinburgh. (My chaotic sculpture studio is next door to his super-tidy workshop!)

  • Love it dude, simple and beautiful.

  • Bel irish reel
