Well as far as I'm concerned it didn't in football, literally we didn't have a history till then. And we actually ffing do have basketball tradition in the still not so distant past.

Your a dipshit ya know that? No tradition? Is that what the most Big 8 titles up until 1990 is considered? 4 Final Fours? More NCAA tourney appearances than KU up until than to. Being rated as one of the top 20 programs of all time? In 2002 when we hadn't been decent in 12 years at that point. If you say we have no fucking history, well you just don't understand what your talking about.

@Kansas1241 yeah we were. but at least we actually played a top 8 ranked team and lost to a legit 4 seeded team. that whole season KU had was just a joke. they played maybe......5 worth teams. Us being 2.
