The best pen money can buy. Pelikan makes bottled ink only pens.

  • Pardon the eureka moment but these pens *are* slightly transparent after all, then? (well, it would make sense since this colour pattern doesn't have the ink window the black edition has) I got the M400 White Tortoise for two reasons: a) it's gooooorgeous and b) very VERY transparent if you hold it up to the light.

Oh, &I love ink bottles & I hate cartridges as well - for one, they just don't have the same flow as the piston filler system. And +1 to Pelikan's for holding TONS of ink, indeed.

  • Those 4 will last all your life? LOL. I guess I have more cumulated (in-between semester) holiday time that you have school time. These wouldn't last a year, let alone a lifetime - if you've got anything in common with writing.

  • I watched this to find out how to fill my new Pelikan 600 fountain pen.

This expert's demonstration left me with one unanswered question.

Where is this man's left hand???

  • @rebelartwork The Sonnet is a great pen too...I'd say it is even better than lower end Pelikan pens (e.g. the M200, 215, etc.).

  • @chopin65 Yeah they are very pricey. Some people might find it beneficial to use a credit card to purchase it and to finance a pen that way. Sounds stupid these days to do that for a pen, but if you would really love a higher end fountain pen and you intend to keep and use it for the rest of your life, then it might not be a bad idea purchasing. People spend lots of money on all sorts of things from video games to TVs to sneakers...if it makes you happy then go for it.

  • @gayl09 You're right.

  • Virgin.

  • @labrat10001 Same here. It really is an awesome pen.

  • i have watched this video SO many times i just wearly want that pen PLEEEEASE make another videoabout this pen PLEEEEEAAASEEE

  • @ThatLonelyLoner I have to agree. I have a range of pens from 3 dollar rollerballs to 100 dollar fountain pens and I have to say that it is considerably more satisfying finding a great cheap ($10-$30) pen that lasts forever and writes well. Sure it doesn't have gold etchings and a platinum coated nib, but if it writes well and is comfortable to use... why not!?
