Exercises that stretch the outer hamstrings, hip flexors, lower back, obliques, hip abductor, hip adductor, calf muscles, and so on.

Basic stretches that can help anyone's flexibility.

Remember not to bounce. Some people need to warm up(running, jogging on the spot etc) before stretching. Warming up consists of stretching, but stretching alone isn't all that is to warming up!

Anyway, I did those stretches in dance and some were from phy ed class.

I took about 3 months to get splits. Some people get it faster, some slower. Continue to stretch nonetheless.

I seldom use this set of stretching for skating because I need to be on the floor/bench for it. Instead, these are for stretching when my muscles are too tense/tight
