Nils Lofgren talks about not being able to play solo material at Bruce Springsteen concerts and opens up to Dave about what it was like playing on Neil Young's records such as "After The Gold Rush", "Trans", and "MTV UNPLUGGED". Lofgren side steps questions about having to deal with Neil Young's ego and talks about how he got started in the music industry. Lofgren also talks about how Neil Young was still performing with CSNY right after "After The Gold Rush" and talks about recording with Crazy Horse. Respond to this video...As much as I wanted to hear some anti-Bruce stuff from Nils, I was quite pleased with the way Lofgren articulated how he felt about being in The E. Street Band and found him to be more honest than ingratiatory.

It's a stupid f*#king question. I love Nils...excellent musician. But if you want to hear his music, go to a Nils Lofgren show. NOBODY going to a Springsteen concert is going to hear Lofgren's songs.
