THIS DISH MIGHT TASTE GOOD BUT PLEASE DON'T CALL IT DAMALO for the undermentioned reasons
1.the potato is never cut into pieces in damalo.
2.the potatoes are steamed and given deep pin pricks so that oil and spices enter inside it.
3 they are deep fried.
4.Your curry is not also up to mark as per Kashmiri standards.
5.Please edit this video and rename this dish by any other name.(naming it damalo will be great injustice to this dish)

@Kaboose786 haha...we are not all novices ! :-P (extra tip, for the grown ups: try to gently roast the fennel seeds, then they will taste much better! Works with most whole spices)
