  • In my opinion the reason is because is less dangerous for ship structure. Taking the sea from the front to back means place the front on one wave and put the back on another wave and it can be dangerous. And more he don't take all sea on the side but partially from the side. Sorry for my english :-) Quote my post and let me know what you think. Is possible that I'm wrong.

  • i work in the north sea this kind of weather is an everyday occurance most of the year but when the weather is good it is great out there

  • @matteorava  Quatering the sea usually gives the best ride, that is takeing the waves on a 45 degree angle.
