My days as a helicopter pilot ended in tragedy. I was landing at a large summer fair where the organisers had STUPIDLY placed a trampoline next to the helipad.
Next thing I know, there’s loads of screaming & people are calling me a ‘murderer’ trying to drag me out & lynch me! The Judge said it WASN’T MY FAULT that a kid had bounced up into the blades & got decapitated. He DID criticise me for making a quick getaway, but how was I to know the head had landed in the back of the cockpit?

It was in Malaysia...in think it was in 1997 a telco contracted a civil chopper to install part of the communication thus due to lack of planing and wrong spec of chopper, 5 people perished (pilot, co-pilot, high ranking telco guy (all in the chopper) and on the ground, an Indonesian pregnant women and her unborn child that was unlucky to on the site ...she was decapitated from the rotor...Allah bless them all and rest in peace).
