Declined and maxed out credit cards are normal for far too many people. How long is it before your credit card is declined at the coffee shop or fast food restaurant? Normal is broke...BE WEIRD.

  • F.P.U. changed our lives and we are headed to a DEBT FREE life!!!

  • Problem is, most people can't, don't or won't do it "on their own." If they did, so many people wouldn't be in so much trouble. Many need help to know where to begin, how to proceed and enouragement to keep going. Even if you don't agree with him, he's helping a lot of people. He's a "good old boy" - don't think he claims this IS rocket science.

  • normal is broke, and too many of us are broke. sub my channel and break the cycle

  • We do this at my highschool.

  • I have played that card game too. However, I was fortunate enough to play that game with a debit card rather than a credit card. Both card games end badly. When you don't have a written budget, you wind up feeling 2 inches high while your parents pay off your overdraft fees at the bank & it is not the first instance that they did so! I listened to "Total Money Makeover" on CD last year & it changed my life. I no longer have overdrafts.

  • Sigh .....

I guess we need people like Dave here to help the dumb-downed populace out of debt.

  • If people learn only one thing, DON'T use credit cards for entertainment, then they'll be much better off.

  • ok im 16 im in a jrotc class (for those who dont know what jrotc is its junior reserve officer tranning corp aka milt school) our lt col had a fincial advisor come and we did the 13 week program and lets just say im going to be pretty set as long as i live to how dave tought me plus the other info ive gotten from scussesfull friends of my family thx dave

  • I went from being a student and living off of about 10k/year to working and making 70k a year. Thanks to Dave, I'll have my 70k student loan paid off in about 3 years. Oh, and my husband and I will only have our house payment left after that and our cars will be paid off well before then. Without this financial guidance, I would have a lovely new car and the government would be enjoying my additional few thousand dollars in interest from my loans! Thanks Dave!

  • @plasterofparisify Basically, he teaching us to use cash instead of the plastic and of course he and majority of us know to buy a coffee pot instead of starbucks...like we have time to brew coffee at 4 in the morning when some start shift at 7 or 8 am.
