    This is great!

    The only difference I agree with you is about "sharing" or preaching...the early church had both.

    1 Cor 14

    Also the Chinese and Indian church have women leaders and church planters and they are nowhere near "seeker".

    While I agree with your assessment, I disagree with the examples you used. Chinese believers have women leaders and have sharing instead of preaching in houses... yet they are far from seeker sensetive.

  • you have put into words something that I have felt and haven't been able to express. I read the book purpose driven church and while I found many things that I thought were wise and useful I had a ting of discomfort and couldn't put my finger on it. one way I had tried to express my worry with the seeker church pattern is that it provides a way for people have no plan or desire to commit to discipleship to be identified with christ. the potintial for compromising our testimony is enormous here.
