DigInfo - http://movies.diginfo.tv The Blu-ray disc is a high density optical disc developed by Sony in 2002. It is called Blu-ray because it uses a blue-violet laser, compared to the red or infra-red lasers of DVD or CD players. This laser has a shorter wavelength which means more data can be stored in the same amount of space. Approximately 50Gb, 23 hours of DVD quality video or 9 hours of High-Definition video, can be stored on a single dual-layer disc.

the video is one sided. it dose not say about hd dvd's fetures.when a pictur of hd dvd is shown it makes it look like it is nothink.sony has control over the media, blue ray here given a push start by this and the ps3 leading to the reason for the 150 companys. next time a vid is made, do the reserch first.(not talking about Diginfonews , he did not make the vid)
